Be the Turning Point For a Young Person This Festive Season

One person, One gift, One future transformed

As the festive season is upon us, many of us look forward to warmth, family and celebration. But for the young people we work with, this time of year can be one of the most dangerous. Across London, youth violence continues to put young lives at risk.

This year, we are asking our community to Be the Turning Point for a young person.
Just £180 supports one young person through a full year of BIGKID programmes — giving them access to a safe place to go after school, leadership programmes, sports, creative activities and a trusted adult who believes in them.

Your gift could mean

  • A young person stays in school instead of being excluded.

  • A teenager choosing flag football training over gang pressure.

  • A vulnerable young person finding confidence, friendship, and hope.

  • A life steered away from violence and towards a brighter future.

We know this model works. In the last year, we worked with over 3,500 young people, helping them build resilience, leadership and belonging. When young people walk through our doors, they find community. They find mentors. They find family. Most importantly, they find their potential.

This festive season, we hope you’ll stand with us.

Please consider donating £180 to help a young person or by giving whatever you can to support our work.

Together, we can keep young people safe.
Together, we can create opportunities that change lives.
Together, we can end youth violence.

Thank you for believing in our young people.

"Since being with BIGKID, I’ve achieved freedom and happiness. Before all of this I was just stressed. BIGKID is a place for me  to slow down and  let all the stress go down on to the floor and  wash away. I don’t like to talk to people about my feelings. But going to BIGKID and talking about my feelings, I gained a whole different perspective on what I thought was going on in my life. There were people I could talk to, it just lets me breathe."
